Culto Collective member Jordan Brandt has finally pulled through with another post for the blog with a black and white photo and a poem. The photo is a double exposure he made in his darkroom and the poem is something he almost got in a car wreck over due to recording it while driving. Nevertheless, here is his Time Type Rhyme picture-poem combination. Enjoy!
Time doesn’t heal,
it steals,
your youth,
your bliss,
it pulls you out of comfort,
shoves one down the stairs,
no one else cares,
they’re attached too,
drug behing the same ship,
forget escape,
you’re a fly stuck to the tape,
no freedom,
only levels,
heights of separation,
I on this one,
you on that one,
higher or lower,
climb climb, and climb,
the motion continues,
we all slide,
we all die.
